Engineers Without Borders-UCSB is a student run organization founded in October 2003. Our growing membership is open to all interested persons from all fields and currently includes students, staff, and off-campus collaborators.

Our Mission

The mission of Engineers Without Borders - USA (EWB-USA) is to partner with disadvantaged communities to improve their quality of life through implementation of environmentally and economically sustainable engineering projects, while developing internationally responsible students.

Run along the coast and support EWB - February 26!

Join EWB for a run along the beautiful Southern California coastline Saturday Feb 26. Your participation will help to raise awareness of the Gaviota Coast, while raising funds for EWB's projects with rural communities in Peru and Kenya. For more information, to register, or donate, click here!

EWB Kickoff Meeting (New Meeting Location is EWB 2001)

The kickoff meeting for EWB is scheduled for next Wednesday, September 29 at 5:30pm in ESB 2001. We are excited to hear about this summer's implementation trips and get to work planning projects for next summer!
